Dr. Patrick Green
Philosophy: My goal is to help patients live longer, healthier lives by modifying their cardiovascular risk (primarily by lifestyle interventions) and by treating cardiovascular disease with evidence-based care.
Background: I have been a team member of MedFit since we opened in December 2010. I have a bachelor’s degree in health & exercise science from Colorado State University and I am an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer.
Favorite part about working at MedFit: Teaching a variety of classes and developing relationships with our amazing members is the best part of my job!
One fun, unknown fact about you: I grew up in the desert on a cotton farm in west Texas (and I have the tattoo on my foot to remind me of these family roots.)
Where can members find you? When I am not teaching classes in the group exercise studio or aquatics center, members can find me working hard behind the scenes, coordinating programs and supporting the Medical Fitness Center staff.
Background: I received my Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science in 2009 and currently pursuing my Masters in Management from Colorado State University. I have experience working with physical therapy, bariatrics, cardiac rehab, running and wellness programs.
Favorite part about working at MedFit: Staying healthy is important to me, so my favorite part about working at MedFit is helping all age groups and fitness levels meet their wellness goals to live happy and healthy.
One fun, unknown fact about you: My husband and I completely remodeled our house, interior design is one of my passions!
Where can members find you? You can find me teaching STEP classes and where ever there is a need for a helping hand. Otherwise, you can find me working behind the scenes ensuring MedFit is running its best for our members.
Background: I graduated from Concordia University Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and Human Performance. I have been working in the health and exercise industry for eight years and been with MedFit since we opened our doors in December 2010.
Favorite part about working at MedFit: My favorite part about working at MedFit is getting to know our wonderful members and providing them the tools to live a healthier and happier lifestyle.
One fun, unknown fact about you: I played soccer in college and chose my degree based on my passion for health and exercise that came from my competitive spirit and love for sports.
Where can members find you? You can find me on the first floor overseeing our incredible STEP participants, in the group exercise studio teaching Seniors on the Ball, encouraging our awesome female members during Women on Weights or hanging out on the fitness floor working to keep our members safe while they exercise!
Background: I was part of the opening staff at MedFit in December 2010 and returned in September 2014. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with my bachelor’s degree in sport and exercise science with a concentration in cancer rehabilitation. I also hold a certification as cancer exercise specialist.
Favorite part about working at MedFit: Witnessing members taking charge of their health and making positive improvements in their own lives are the best parts of my job.
One fun, unknown fact about you: I was a state qualifying pole vaulter in high school.
Where can members find you? In addition to my regular fitness specialist duties, you can find me motivating oncology patients through their workout to help reduce the negative side effects from cancer treatments and improve their everyday function.
Fitness Specialist/Personal Trainer
Background: I received my Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Health Science in 2015 from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I also recently became an ACSM certified Personal Trainer.
Favorite part about working at MedFit: I love meeting our members and seeing them on a day to day basis working and achieving theirs goals! I really enjoy being part of a team that is so committed to healthy lifestyles and fitness!
One fun, unknown fact about you: I played basketball in college for UCCS.
Where can members find you? Members can find me on the fitness floor or in the pool teaching our outstanding STEP patients, and I can also be found teaching group exercise classes including gentle yoga.

Background: I joined MedFit in January 2013. I am set to graduate with my bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in 2016. After that, my aspirations may lead me towards PA school.
Favorite part about working at MedFit: Being able to work with an amazing staff and meet others who are committed to a healthy lifestyle.
One fun, unknown fact about you: I can lucid dream. I used to think it was normal until I saw the movie Inception. Everyone was making a huge deal about it; all the while I was thinking, “can’t everyone do that?”
Where can members find you? I’m a girl with many hats! You can find me all around the center, but most of the time I am in the pool inspiring our master swim participants or at the front desk assisting our awesome members.

Background: I have been a team member of MedFit since May 2016. I have a passion for health care and helping people! I am set to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in health care in 2019.
Favorite part about working at MedFit: I absolutely love getting to know our awesome members. Both members and staff are fun people to be around and work with.
One fun, unknown fact about you: I love to travel and have plans to travel the world after graduating from college.

Background: : I became part of the MedFit team in May of 2016. I’m currently attending CSU where I am majoring in psychology and I’m set to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in 2019.
Favorite part about working at MedFit: My favorite part about working at MedFit is the oppprtunity to teach swim lessons!
One fun, unknown fact about you: I basically live in the pool! I started swimming competitively when I was 10 and have been lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons since I was 15.
Where can members find you? You can either find me at the front desk helping members, hanging out with the kids in babysitting or teaching lessons in the pool!
