Meet Our Registered Dietitian

Katie Kissane, RD

Katie is a registered dietitian, diabetes educator and board certified in sports dietetics. She has diverse experience in many areas of nutrition including high performance athletes, diabetes, food allergies/intolerances and eating disorders. Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in food science and human nutrition from Colorado State University. Katie’s approach to nutrition is holistic and personalized to each client’s individual situation and goals. There is a lot of confusion and misinformation out there about nutrition, but her role is to translate the latest nutrition research in a way that is understandable, realistic and tastes great!

Katie has been an avid runner since the age of 12 when she joined the cross-country running team in middle school. Her passion for nutrition began while running in college when she made a few mistakes in her own diet and began to realize that what she ate directly impacted both her performance and health. She is now dedicated to helping others acheive maximum nutritional benefits through education and practice.
