Let MedFit help you rock your wellness routine!

As a medical fitness center, we pride ourselves on offering unique specials events to help challenge, teach and reward. Our goal is to encourage the community to live healthier lives and have fun while doing it! We are proud to offer most events free of charge to MedFit members as well as the Windsor and surrounding communities. So gather up your friends, family members, neighbors and co-workers and get involved in all the events happening this winter!

What’s New This Winter

HOLD FOR THE HOLIDAYS  

November 21 – January 8 | Free for members

Join us for this FREE Holiday motivator! Participants start by weighing-in at MedFit November 21-27 and weigh back in January 2-8. If you maintain (within 1.5 lbs.) or lose weight you will receive a gift from MedFit for a job well done! Sign up as an individual or with a team. Maintainers will be entered into a drawing for a FREE MONTH! Lose weight and get a second entry!
Grab our fun 12 Days of Christmas workout to keep you on track, learn holiday wellness tips and earn prizes along the way.


BOSU WORKSHOP

December 2 | 6-7 p.m. | Free for all

Focus on balance, stability and core with dynamic functional movements all on one simple-to-use piece of equipment – the bosu. Come ready to move and learn!


HOLIDAY GROUP EXERCISE CHALLENGE

December 1-31 | Free for members

Have a little extra fun taking Group Exercise classes in December by grabbing our Christmas Tree flyer. Have your fitness instructor sign an ornament for each group exercise class you attend. Fill the tree by attending 8 classes to be entered in to win a holiday prize! Attend the Bosu Workshop December 2 for a bonus entry!


NEW YOU 2020

January 13 – February 9 | Free for members

Kick start the year with our 4-week wellness challenge. Commit to a certain amount of cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, healthy nutrition, water intake and hours of sleep to create a “new” well rounded “you.” Reach your grand total goals and be entered in to win prizes. We will hold you accountable by having you track your workouts and lifestyle habits each week. Small goals lead to big changes. How will you challenge yourself this year?

Small Group Fitness

PILATES REFORMER

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. | Tuesday 4:45 – 5:45 p.m |Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Bring balance to your body with a focus on alignment, posture, strength and flexibility. Pilates is a low impact workout that specializes in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Our small group classes allow for individualized attention while enjoying the lower cost of working in a group. Registration required.

  • One Session: $15 member; $25 non-member
  • Package of 10 Sessions: $130 member; $199 non-member

ProjectFIT

Monday, Wednesday and Friday | 6:00 – 6:45 a.m. 

Get results fast with this high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and heavy weight lifting approach to small group training. This program guarantees you will see results and provides a whole new level of motivation and accountability. Strength, endurance and body composition are regularly assessed, helping you blast through plateaus! Work to advance your athletic performance, lose weight and increase overall fitness with this exciting, early morning program. Come join in on the fun and meet like-minded friends who share your passion for exercise! Registration required.

  • $25 per month for members
  • $100 per month for non-members

match, it’s up to you. Ask about your free 30 minutes trainer/client consultation designed especially for new clients.

  • Pilates 1:1 training: Relieve stress, tone muscle and increase your core strength and flexibility.
  • Yoga 1:1 training: Improve flexibility, strength, concentration, posture and breathing.

Clinical Wellness

Clients are evaluated by an oncology certified physical therapist and receive an individualized exercise program. A typical program includes cardiovascular, balance and strength training.

STEP – SUPERVISED THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE PROGRAM

This class is designed to address your health and fitness goals with input and guidance from your healthcare provider. We work with you to ensure you reach your goals in a safe, motivating environment. Participants meet with fitness professionals three times per week in a group setting.


Youth Fitness

YOUTH CERTIFICATION

By Appointment | See Front Desk to Schedule | Cost: Free to members/$30 non-members

Offered to youth ages 7-12 and 13-15 years old, these programs teach kids how to safely and effectively perform age appropriate exercises utilizing UCHealth Medical Fitness equipment.

YOUTH SWIM LESSONS

Give your kids a gift that will last a lifetime. Half hour sessions are offered for 2 months through 12 years old. Parents are required to attend for children less than 2 years of age.
